Private Blog Networks

Typing up the latest blog post.

One of the best ways to artificially increase the search rankings of your eCommerce website, is to create your very own private blog network (PBN.) I should make it clear that trying to artificially manipulate search engine rankings is something which is frowned upon by Google (the main search engine which anybody would worry about) and if you are found to be doing this, your site can be penalised and this can cause you to disappear from the rankings altogether, potentially costing you huge sums of money, so, with anything like this, proceed with caution.

A private blog network is a collection of blogs created and owned by one person. These blogs are then filled with honest and good content which could be legitimately enjoyed by people looking to read things online. Then a link is included within one of the PBN blog posts and it transfers some of the blog's value over to site. To make this especially effective, some people buy disused (but valuable) domains which already have some value (which can be transferred) and use these for the blogs they create. Another thing that people use PBNs for is using unconventional SEO tactics (such as paying for thousands of links to be created towards something) which will then make the blogs more powerful, but if there is ever a misfire and Google wants to penalty the site, it won't damage your main, moneymaking site.

So if you were hoping to find a new way of increasing your search engine rankings, perhaps it would be worth cultivating your own PBN? While it is a case of artificially manipulating search rankings, you are also going to be acting as a good member of the internet community and providing something good and worthwhile to the world wide web, making it less dubious than other methods. This could be a real benefit to your eCommerce website, but if you don't even have an eCommerce website yet, then sign up to Sellr now and get started for no cost at all!
