Summer Holidays Marketing
Throughout the year, there are loads of different factors which will determine what and how much people are buying online. Christmas and Easter are obviously two of the biggest things, but the summer holidays are something else which you should be conscious of, as capitalising on that could bring you a nice boost in sales.
There are all kinds of products which people will be buying for their summer holidays: beachwear/swimwear, sun cream, sports equipment, summerwear, toys, games, luggage and so much more. Do you sell any of these products? If so, it could be a good idea to make up a nice summer holidays themed graphic and share it on your social media feeds so that people know to turn to you for their summer holiday purchases. In fact, it could be hugely beneficial for you if you have a sale on these products at this time of year. A summer sale like this could be the thing that makes people go for your products rather than the products of your competitors. You could even go a little bit further and give your site a somewhat summery make over. That's not to mention that now would be the perfect time to push forward with your content marketing and write lots of blog posts about having the best possible summer holiday (including the odd sales plug, here and there.)
So, as always, you just need to be aware of what is going on in the world at large. Doing the exact same thing throughout the year is not a very wise marketing strategy and will mean that your site is not living up to its fullest potential. Hopefully this gives you a good idea of something you can be doing to help promote your eCommerce website, but if you don't even have an eCommerce website, then sign up to Sellr now and get started for no cost at all!
