How To Leave Weebly

By Adam  |  25 Aug 2015 15:00:00

Perhaps you always wanted to start a blog or an eCommerce website and you choose Weebly as the platform with which to do it. Eventually you realised however that, no, Weebly is not appropriate for your needs; another service would be better. Well, if that sounds like the situation you are in, then maybe Sellr is the right service for you. After all, there are many reasons you might choose to go for Sellr over Weebly. Whatever you want to leave it for, this blog post will give you all the information you need to know if you want to leave Weebly.

Firstly, if you're using the free version of Weebly it shouldn't really be too hard at all. When you're on the page that lists your websites if you click on the 'More' tab next to your website, then you will see an option which just says 'Delete Site' and, basically, it really is as simple as that! Something you might want to consider, however, is whether or not you are going to save your blog posts. If you delete a Weebly website it will all be gone and there will be no way to retrieve it later on. So you might want to copy and paste your best blog posts onto Word documents, or, perhaps, you might want to copy and paste all of them onto Word documents. By doing this, if you then continue your website with another service you can just have the same old blog posts in your blog (you could even backdate them!). If you want to go further than that, and need to cancel payment options and so on as well, you can just click on 'Account' and then click 'Delete Account' which will bring an end to your relationship with Weebly.

Hopefully this blog post has been useful for you if you were planning on leaving Weebly but weren't quite sure of how to do so. If you are looking for a different service on which to continue your blogging or eCommerce endeavours, then perhaps Sellr could be for you. If you're unsure, it couldn't hurt to read the blog post on Sellr's strengths over Weebly (linked above). And, of course, don't forget that Sellr is an entirely free service and can be used to create your website for no cost at all, so there is no commitment involved. Why not give it a try?
