Redesigning Your Website

By Adam  |  19 Sep 2015 12:00:00

One thing you will notice is that all the big websites out there get updated periodically. Amazon, eBay, Google; they've all undergone several redesigns and  changes over the years. So why do they do this? Well, there are two main reasons. Firstly, as technology changes, what looks good changes too. Things like the sizes of the screens and the way in which people browse websites all have a big effect on how good a website seems to people and so it will need to be updated regularly in order to keep up with technology. Plus, what looks trendy and cool is always changing too; you want your website to look fashionable, after all. The second, less significant, reason for a redesign is that it builds up a sense of excitement about your website; people will enjoy looking around at the new design and might just come across something they had never realised with the old design.

Anyway, that point is that, if you've had an eCommerce website for a while, it could be a good idea to update its look with a redesign. For all the reasons stated above, it might just help boost business business! With Sellr, you can easily use our templates to update your website at anytime; maybe you just want to change the logo or switch a few things around or maybe you want to switch to a different template and have the whole thing overhauled!
