Facebook or Twitter for Business
If you picked somebody at random and asked them which two social media networks were the best, they'd probably say Facebook and Twitter - almost everybody knows them! So if you were looking to do some social media marketing, it would be best to use these two sites. But what if you only had time to use one of them? If you're a small business, you might be running everything yourself and social media marketing takes time! It wouldn't be too much of a surprise if you only had time to go over one, so in today's blog post I am going to be comparing both of them to try and help you make a decision.
Facebook The problem with Facebook is that it is very much geared towards making you spend money. The reach of your business page will be unfairly reduced unless you pay Facebook to "boost" your post. This can make things especially difficult for businesses who do not have much of a marketing budget.
Twitter The problem with Twitter is that its popularity is in decline and it is losing users all the time. It might not be around for as long as Facebook will. There's also the fact that they have a very restrictive character limit, which makes it hard to say what you want to say, at times.
So both have their strengths and it's for you to decide, but whatever you do, I hope that it will be a great benefit to your eCommerce business! If you don't yet have an eCommerce website, then sign up to Sellr now and get started for no cost at all!
