Plot Generator for Content Inspiration
Content marketing is a great way to reach new customers and to keep the existing customers coming back. If you've got a regular supply of interesting, insightful blog posts, why wouldn't they keep coming back for more? Plus, the more subjects you cover in your various blog posts, the more likely you are to come up in a large number of Google searches; of course, the more Google searches you come up in, the more people find your site and then, hopefully, the more people buy from you!
But it can be hard to have such a large number of content ideas; even the best of us get a little bit of writer's block every now and again. If you're worried about those times when you can't think of anything to write (and any professional blog should be kept to a schedule) then I want to suggest a free service which you might be interested in: Plot Generator. I know what you're going to say "This is for writing stories! It's worthless to a content marketer" but I'm afraid I'd have to disagree. Content marketing is at its most effective when you produce something which is unique, creative and, most importantly, enjoyable to read. No, I'm not saying that your business's blog should be the host of some epic, ongoing storyline (well, unless you want to do that) but a little creativity never hurt. Plot Generator might just give you a little kick towards a fun post every now and then. Here are a few gems it produced for me:
- 'She said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want money." - 'They looked at each other with serious feelings, like two brave, bloody badgers cooking at a very down to earth eCommerce convention.' - 'It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel formal.'
I find it very funny, and I hope that you will be able to use Plot Generator for your own content marketing! But if you don't even have an eCommerce website to do content marketing for, then sign up to Sellr now! We give you all the tools you need to create your very own eCommerce website and we give you a comprehensive blogging feature.
