Sharing Other People's Content on Facebook
Do you struggle to think of ideas about what to share on your Facebook page? I can appreciate that thinking up something fresh and new every day is going to be quite time consuming and also something which is going to require a lot of creative thinking. You need to post regularly, or the Facebook algorithm will cause you to appear less often in people's newsfeeds, so something is always better than nothing. But the good news is, even if you can't think of your own ideas for Facebook marketing, you can be quite effective simply by sharing content from other pages.
There are a lot of Facebook pages out there which enjoy a lot of success simply by sharing content created by other people. There are countless pages dedicated to sharing funny or insightful posts and if you check these pages regularly, you might be able to find things which you can share on your own page. Obviously I am not advocating that you steal content (that could get in you trouble) but if you press "share" you can then share a funny image from one page on your own, with the author being properly attributed. As you are able to add your own thoughts to anything you share, you could keep your eyes peeled for some funny content which is tied in to the kind of products you sell on your eCommerce website and then you could add some kind of sales plug on your end. Even if the sales side isn't hugely successful, this will help with brand awareness and encourage people to trust you. Interestingly, sharing posts from other pages tends to give you a larger "reach" than posting your own stuff does.
So if your Facebook page was a bit lacking in content, I hope this will give you a good idea of what you can be doing to fill it! Hopefully this will go a long way towards helping you increase sales on your eCommerce website, but if you don't yet have an eCommerce website, then sign up to Sellr now and get started for no cost at all!
