When you're doing social media marketing, you want to make it clear to your customers that you are somebody who is very in the loop when it comes to all of the cool and trendy things that people do on those networks. Every day is an occasion on social media and so here's the week broken down into what happens on each day.
#MondayMotivation - not really a theme for a day, but every Monday morning you'll find this trending. People are coming back to work and they're sad that the weekend is over. They need something to get them through the week and maybe you could be that something, offering them a special sale or an inspirational image.
#CharityTuesday - a day for people to help raise awareness for different charities and to share information on their own charitable endeavours. If your customers can see that you donate to charity, they will be more likely to buy from you in future as they will see that their money is helping to go towards that.
#WinWednesday - businesses like to do giveaways on Wednesday and cutomers like to take part in them! Some people will just browse through the tweets under that hashtag and these people might just go on to become your regular customers.
#ThrowbackThursday - the perfect day for nostalgic reflections... It is also the perfect excuse to share older pieces of content again to get more value out of them!
#FridayFeeling - a hashtag based around the excitement which surrounds the coming weekend. This would be the perfect chance for you to highlight any of your products which people might find use for on the weekend. Or you could try to encourage your customers that they deserve a little treat, it being the end of a hard week and all.
So I hope that's a useful breakdown of the week in social media terms. Keeping these things in mind could really help you to optimise your social media marketing for your eCommerce website, but if you don't yet have an eCommerce website be sure to create one with Sellr today!
