What is Cyber Monday?
Black Friday takes place on the first Friday after the American celebration of Thanksgiving, which always takes place on the fourth Thursday of November and Cyber Monday is the next Monday after that Friday. As you can see, Cyber Monday has no set date and so you're going to have to do a little bit of research when you want to prepare for it. But, anyway, it certainly is something you should bear in mind because it's a day where you stand to make lots of sales. The days close proximity to Christmas is only going to drive even more sales. Some people might aim to do all of their Christmas shopping over Black Friday and Cyber Monday which is definitely the catalyst for lots of sales! Consider people who live in very rural areas: they are not likely to have access to the big shops who are taking part in Black Friday and so for them, Cyber Monday might be the big sales day.
So mark Black Friday and Cyber Monday on your calendar! It would probably be best to only offer sales on one of these days because doing so on both is likely to lessen the impact and intensity of the sales, but it's definitely worth your time to acknowledge at least one of these days! I hope that you'll make a nice profit on either Black Friday or Cyber Monday and that you'll continue to find success with your eCommerce website.
