Customer Location Mapping Software

By Adam  |  5 Nov 2015 10:00:00

I've mentioned that the Sellr control panel is going to be updated soon and talked about the new live chat system which will come with the update. Today I'd like to tell you all about yet another new feature which will be coming to Sellr with the update. I'm sure you've read this blog post's title and I don't really need to tell you, but the new feature I'll be discussing today is customer location mapping software.

Are you familiar with what customer location mapping software is? If not, allow me to explain: customer location mapping software will show you, on a map, where it is that all of your customers are coming from. There'll be little pins on a map of the world and each one of them will represent the location of a customer. You can zoom in, zoom out and generally browse around the world like you would with any other online map service. You might think that this sounds like a pretty cool idea, but also fail to see how it has any real business value. Well, you see, it actually helps you from a marketing perspective; you want your business to be up to date with all current affairs and you'll want to be doing promotions that tie into events and holidays to further encourage sales. If you see that you have a lot of customers in a country other than your own then you might want to look into the national holidays and celebrations which are acknowledged in that country. Even if you just realise that you have a lot of people coming from a particular town or city within your own country, you could try to tie certain sales and promotions into events in that location. To a lot of people, the reality of businesses seems quite removed from real life, but if you're doing all you can to relate to your customers lives they'll be really impressed and more likely to buy from you.

So I hope you're feeling excited for the Sellr update. These new features really stand to help make your eCommerce website even better. Not only will things be easier for you to manage from the back side of the website, but you'll be able to take steps which will make your website appeal more to prospects and therefore help to drive sales. But if you don't even have an eCommerce website yet, then sign up to Sellr now! With this update just around the corner, there's never been a better time to get started.
